My repertoire for the solo bass is very special and represents music composed specifically for the bass. My solo piano pieces are composed specifically for the piano and lets me explore unique harmony, voicings, cadences and melodic melodies. David Friesen has been played 14 various instruments including the Mbira, Hemage bass, bamboo flute, grand piano and several various percussion instruments in solo, duo, trio and quartet formats with himself. Almost every composition has a corresponding video that captures the mood of the performance.
