New Outside in Music Label Showcase Release Out this Friday August 9th Jazz record label and media company Outside in Music launches its third iteration of the “Outside in Experience” in collaboration with Long Island City Recording Studio Pinch Recording. The “Outside in Experience” is a label showcase that features bandleaders from the label’s rapidly growing catalogue of jazz’s brightest up and comers from all different corners of the scene. “Outside in Music Live at Pinch Recording” (OiM 1927) provides seven original compositions from seven bandleader/composers on the Outside in Music roster, recorded live at Long Island City recording studio Pinch Recording. The project is a collaboration between OiM and Pinch to feature the artistry of the composers and feature new additions to the studio’s arsenal of equipment to be able to capture acoustic jazz at its best. Coming this Friday August 9th, Outside in Music launched its third label showcase featuring: Saxophonist Michael Thomas (Terraza Big Band - One Day Wonder), trombonist Nick Finzer (Hear & Now, Live in NYC), pianist Chris Ziemba (Manhattan Lullaby), bassist Dave Baron (Introducing Dave Baron), drummer Jeremy Noller (NOLLER/SYLLA), saxophonist Roxy Coss (Quintet), saxophonist Owen Broder (Cowboys & Frenchmen; Rodeo, Bluer Than You Think), Lucas Pino (Lucas Pino’s No Net Nonet; That’s a Computer, The Answer is No), trombonist Jimmy O’Connell (Arrythmia), saxophonist Andrew Gould (First Things First), trombonist Nick Grinder (Farallon), saxophonist Brian Krock (Big Heart Machine, Liddle), saxophonist Caleb Curtis (New Year), bassist Andre Carvalho (Garden of Earthly Delights), tenor saxophonist Paul Jones (Clean), drummer Dan Pugach (Dan Pugach Nonet), and guitarist Gabriel Vicens (Coming Back).
