SIM São Paulo - Showcase opportunity SIM São Paulo is one of the most important music conventions in Latin America. During five days, the city becomes a meeting point for professionals from all sectors of the music industry, as well as artists and media from both Brazil and abroad. The event focus on the new music market and promotes new ideas and concepts which are transforming the music scene. SIM connects people, introducing activities that follow three different lines: The presentation of new music trends (SIM LIVE); Access to up-to-date and relevant information (CONVENTION); Incentives to form new partnerships (Networking & Business). SIM São Paulo gives artists and bands the opportunity to perform at Centro Cultural São Paulo on December 6th, 7th and 8th, from 3pm to 8:30pm, as part of the official line-up of showcases. Applications will be on-line from June 29th to August 12th 2018. A total of 27 artists will be selected and their names will be announced on September 3rd. The event will be held on Wednesday December 5th to Sunday December 9th 2018, in São Paulo— the 4th largest city in the world and the music capital of South America – with live music showcases hosted at venues across the city and a music conference at the CCSB (Centro Cultural São Paulo). “Ever since our last visit, we have been anxious to get back to one of, if not the, most exciting music region in the world. The workshops, panels and seminars attracted over 2500 badge-holders.
