Bill Ware Jazz Band Seminars Attention amateur musicians! Are you tired of Jam Sessions where you only get to play on one tune? Are you ready for a deeper experience playing in an ensemble with coaching from a jazz master? Are you looking for the perfect holiday gift for that aspiring jazz musician in your life? Bill Ware is offering a seminar series of coached small ensemble band rehearsals, Sunday mornings in January at the Union Arts Center in Sparkill, NY (Rockland County), just 30 minutes outside NYC. Bill will provide charts, coaching and share his stories and insights from his life experience as a master jazz professional. Sessions held on Sundays, Jan 7, 14, 21 and 28 Four sessions, 2 hours each from 10 am to 12 pm Performance at the conclusion of the series only $250! Bill Ware (Jazz Passengers, Groove Collective, Steely Dan), is a vibraphonist, band leader, composer and arranger who studied with Frank Foster, Barry Harris and Jimmy Owens. He taught at William Paterson University, and with the Harlem Jazzmobile Workshop under the direction of Billy Taylor. Enjoy jazz in an immersion experience like no other! |
