The storied Blue Note Jazz Clubs and Blue Note Records will bring the world's most renowned contemporary jazz musicians together for Blue Note At Sea 2019, a weeklong luxury cruise that sails from January 26 through February 2, 2019. Produced by Entertainment Cruise Productions, the world leader in jazz cruises, Blue Note At Sea is heralded as the NOW of Jazz - the hippest and coolest jazz event of the season hosted by Marcus Miller, Robert Glasper and Don Was. The cruise will feature concerts by over 30 musicians, including the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, Cécile Mclorin Salvant, Kurt Elling, David Sanborn, Terence Blanchard, Christian Scott, Jason Moran, José James, Candy Dulfer, Kandace Springs, Eric Marienthal, Wycliffe Gordon, Ben Williams, Billy Kilson, Niki Harris, Aaron Parks, Terrace Martin, Derrick Hodge, Taylor Mcferrin, Justin Tyson, Logan Richardson, Geoffrey Keezer, Damion Reid, Vicente Archer, Fabian Almazan, Alex Han, Nasheet Waits, Lawrence Fields and Luques Curtis along with special appearances by comedian Alonzo Bodden. Blue Note at Sea sails from Ft. Lauderdale to Nassau (Bahamas), Cozumel (Mexico), Belize and Key West aboard the elegant m/s Celebrity Infinity. Additional artists joining the voyage will be announced in the coming weeks.

"Pairing the Blue Note legacy with these legendary and immensely talented artists is the ultimate dream to jazz fans, " says Marcus Miller. "And for the musicians, it's like nothing else. We get to hang out and jam with each other throughout the week and meet hundreds of true jazz fans. What could be better?"

The Blue Note at Sea experience looks forward to what's happening now in the world of jazz and features today's greats and tomorrow's legends, accompanied by some of the world's greatest traditional jazz artists. Multiple venues on the ship will host concerts each day and night, along with a "Night Music Show", an homage to the groundbreaking late-night television show. David Sanborn returns to reprise his role as host, leading the Blue Note At Sea House Band - Billy Kilson (drums), Geoffrey Keezer (piano), Ben Williams (bass) and Wycliffe Gordon (trombone) - for four nights of amazing music with pop-in performances by the stars of the cruise. David will also interview musicians from the stage, sharing insights and providing cruise guests with a behind the scenes view into the world of jazz from the days of Night Music through today. Blue Note at Sea will also offer live interview and Q & A sessions in front of audiences throughout the week.

Blue Note at Sea Cruise is an official sponsor or supporter of several jazz events and programs, including Monterey Jazz Festival, SFJazz, Vail Jazz, California Jazz Foundation, Los Angeles Jazz Society, Berks Jazz Festival and KJAZZ.
