Colicky is the new 12" Mini-LP by acclaimed indie band Self Defense Family. A dark, roiling post-punk gem recorded during a time of personal turmoil, Colicky is the group's jagged, unflinching look at the disintegration of love and intimacy. The result is a tight and eclectic mini-LP that ranges from cerebrality and coolness to measured chaos. The LP's instrumentation channels dark postpunk influences and tones, while singer Patrick Kindlon opts for a melodic, dispassionate vocal approach: think Turn On The Bright Lights-era Interpol mixed with Lungfish.
