Newport Festivals Foundation, Inc. announces the schedule for Bridgefest 2016, which features concerts and entertainment events presented by area artists, clubs, restaurants, theaters, museums and other organizations. The annual celebration of Newport's rich musical heritage, including folk and jazz music, takes place July 25-28, bridging the gap between the iconic Newport Folk Festival and Newport Jazz Festival .
