Danny Bacher swings the praises of the three Louis... Armstrong, Prima & Jordan on "Swing That Music!"

"The secret of serious fun is not to take it too seriously, an attitude the prodigiously talented singer/ saxophonist Danny Bacher knows in his bones. Come join the party and see what the fun is all about by a memorable, one-of-a-kind performer and Rising Star!" The New York Times

There's nothing like watching a young artist really deliver the goods. Whaling City Sound is pleased to release the new CD by Danny Bacher, a bright new star on the jazz landscape. His clean, crisp delivery is reminiscent of entertainment greats; authentic talent with a distinctive voice and a gift for phrasing. With Danny's unusually warm, soulful soprano sax sound and a swingin' "A List" band of jazz royalty, you've got the next "new classic" album, Swing That Music!

Bacher's dynamic debut pays homage to three iconic Louis: Armstrong, Prima & Jordan. Executive Produced by world class Jazz Producer, Suzi Reynolds, with Grammy-Nominated vocalist Roseanna Vitro as Producer, Bacher is set to launch straight onto the stages and into the hearts of music lovers around the world. Vitro confirms, "Danny is reminiscent of 'triple talent' icons like Louis Armstrong and Sammy Davis, Jr. He's a serious jazz musician who holds his own improvising on sax or scatting with the best musicians on the scene...he has a natural flair for comedy and a voice full of soul."

His band is a 'Who's Who' of jazz masters including cornetist Warren Vaché, drummer Bill Goodwin, bassist Ray Drummond, guitarist Howard Alden, saxophone legend Houston Person, Grammy nominee/trombonist, Pete McGuinness, as an arranger & vocalist; lauded pianist/arranger Jason Teborek; and saxophonist David Demsey. And with 'rising star' vocalist Cyrille Aimée on two outstanding duets with Bacher, the combination of these two rare talents is magical. This break-out debut CD is truly a musical dream team.

Having honed his chops in NYC, the 'Jazz Capital of the World, ' Danny exudes the verve of a seasoned veteran, yet adds his own youthful vigor to the mix. He has a palpable, innate magnetism that can't be taught. Great entertainers are born with a twinkle in their eye that connects them to their audience.

"With the performance ease of an artist who's spent twice his years on the circuit, Bacher delivers scrupulous control, hip phrasing and the kind of savory scat I haven't heard from a man in some time, certainly not one so young!" Broadway World

"With great producers, arrangers, a swinging band, and the enduring legacy of 'The Three Louis, ' you can't help but have a blast with a project like this. I challenge you to listen to this CD without a smile on your face, moving to the beat, or just dancing!" Scott H. Thompson, WPKN
