Diane Moser's Composers Big Band 19th Anniversary Concert

Diane Moser's Composers Big Band is celebrating their 19th year of presenting and developing new music for big band! Beginning in January of 1997, the CBB has invited over 100 guest composers and performers and features the music of its eleven resident composers. This month they will feature composer Linda Miksza and her composition "Bottoms Up", inspired by Thad Jones and his "electric period".

The members of the CBB include:
Saxes: Ed Xiques, Rob Middleton, Marty Fogel, Barbara CifellI, Craig Yaremko, Tom Colao
Trombones: Erick Storckman, Ben Williams, Matt Haviland, Dennis Argul
Trumpets: Mike Spengler, Jim Cifelli, Chris Rogers, Rob Henke
Rhythm Section; Diane Moser-piano, Larry Maltz-guitar, Tim Ferguson-bass, Scott Neumann-drums

Their resident composers include:
Jim Cifelli, Marty Fogel, Matt Haviland, Rob Henke, Rob Middleton, Diane Moser, Chris Rogers, Erick Storckman, Russ Vines, Ed Xiques, Craig Yaremko
