Wall Street Journal Streams New Tedeschi Trucks Band Album

Tedeschi Trucks Band are releasing their new album 'Let Me Get By' on January 29 via Concord/Fantasy, and the Wall Street Journal is streaming the record early starting today. The premiere comes on the heels of an extensive WSJ print feature ("Tedeschi Trucks Band Recharges After Allman Brothers"), which ran last week and called the new album "a transformation."

Bandleaders Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi are also gracing the cover of the February issue of Relix Magazine ("The Dawn of the DIY Dozen"). In it, they discuss the experience of recording and producing the album in their backyard Florida studio, Swamp Raga, and the surgery that nearly sidelined Trucks last month. "Derek is just a trooper, " says Tedeschi. "He's a great leader, he pulls us closer together."

Tedeschi Trucks Band will play a special album release show at New York City's famed Apollo Theater on Tuesday, January 26. The New York Times said the band is sure to "deliver sweltering jams to spite our arctic climes." Proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation, which donates musical instruments to under-funded school music programs across the country. TTB also recently confirmed an August 5 show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, with many more 2016 dates to be announced soon.
