Chip Shelton Upcoming Live Appearances 8/23 Alvin & Friends & 8/26 Trumpets

Crystal Clear Music, Inc. and CCMS Publishing announce two (2) August Jazz Performances by Saxist/Flutist Chip Shelton's PeaceTime Ensemble featuring piano sensation Gino Rosaria

Alvin & Friends Restaurant, 14 Memorial Highway, New Rochelle, NY, Sunday August 23, 2015 two sets at 5pm and 7pm; $20 cover. The ensemble will pay musical tribute to composer/pianist *Billy Strayhorn during this, Strayhorn's centennial year. They also will debut original compositions to be recorded the same week on the 10th Chip Shelton recording, slated for release in early 2016 on Summit Records. A limited menu will be available after 7 pm, so please make reservations earlier to enjoy the full Alvin's dining experience.

Trumpets Jazz Club and Restaurant, 6 Depot Square, Montclair, NJ, Wednesday August 26, 2015 at 7:30pm and 9pm. The ensemble once again will pay musical tribute to composer/pianist *Billy Strayhorn and debut original Shelton compositions to be recorded the same week.

About Chip Shelton:

Chip Shelton is a multi-instrumentalist whose performances include a variety of flutes from Piccolo to Contrabass Flute; Sopranino to Tenor Sax; Clarinet and Bass Clarinet; and Multiple Percussion. He currently resides in the New York City area and actively performs with his own groups: Chip Shelton PeaceTime, and The New York Jazz Flutet; also, Daoud David Williams' Spirit of Life Ensemble. Shelton has released nine (9) CD's to date, including top-seller "Flute Bass-Ics" featuring legendary bassist RON CARTER on Summit Records. Shelton live appearances recently have included A-Trane, Badensher Hof, and B-Flat, in Berlin Germany; and Sorbonne Universite, Duc Des Lombards, Caveau de la Huchette, and Le Petit Journal, in Paris France.

About Gino Rosaria:

Gino Rosaria is a fiery young pianist in high demand throughout the Gulf Coast area, including New Orleans, Florida and Alabama. Shelton and Rosaria have ollaborated on multiple projects in that area including the powerful Rosaria production known as Groove Symphony at two (2) jazz festivals this year: the Pensacola Jazzfest and the Gulf Coast Ethnic and Heritage Jazz Festival.
