SIRIUSXM and THE SMOOTH JAZZ CRUISE Celebrate Jazz Appreciation Month Together

To celebrate Jazz Appreciation Month, SiriusXM will broadcast a series of exclusive concerts recorded earlier this year during The Smooth Jazz Cruise for eight straight evenings in a row beginning on April 19th at 6:00pm ET. Airing on their Watercolors Channel (Channel 66), the concerts will feature contemporary jazz greats Marcus Miller, David Sanborn, Jonathan Butler, Boney James, Brian Culbertson and more, culminating with the April 26th international radio debut of the 3rd annual "Watercolors Jazz Hall of Fame Concert" held aboard the cruise, honoring contemporary jazz greats George Duke and Gerald Albright with an all-star lineup of musicians.

"We've developed top entertainment travel experiences for many years, but nothing comes close to the community that has grown aboard The Smooth Jazz Cruise, " says Michael Lazaroff, Executive Director of Entertainment Cruise Productions, LLC and the producer of The Smooth Jazz Cruise. "Much like Watercolors and SiriusXM, we deliver the world's biggest contemporary jazz musicians to a fabulous audience that knows, loves and appreciates great music. We couldn't be more thrilled to have Watercolors showcase concerts from our most recent cruise during Jazz Appreciation Month."

The Smooth Jazz Cruise has been sailing for more than a decade, delivering a vacation experience that thousands of guests call The Greatest Party at Sea and return to year after year. There will be two Smooth Jazz Cruises in 2016. The first sailing will take place from January 10-17, 2016 and the second will run from February 21-28, both on Holland America's elegant m/s Eurodam. They begin in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and visit the private island of Half Moon Cay, Grand Cayman, Cozumel and Key West. An unparalleled lineup features the greatest musicians in the genre including George Benson, Marcus Miller, David Sanborn, Boney James, Brian Culbertson, Candy Dulfer, Norman Brown, Peabo Bryson, Richard Elliot, Wycliffe Gordon, Chante Moore, Eric Marienthal, Brian Simpson, Grace Kelly, Tom Braxton, Ricky Peterson, Patches Stewart, Jonathan Butler and DW3 along with award-winning comedian Alonzo Bodden.
