Spanish Harlem Orchestra, the two-time GRAMMY Award-winning salsa and Latin jazz band, sets the standard for excellence for authentic, New York style, hard core salsa. The Spanish Harlem Orchestra has established itself as a standard bearer of contemporary Latin music. Directed by world-renowned pianist, arranger, and producer Oscar Hernández, a former Musical Director for Paul Simon and Rubén Blades, writer and arranger of the theme song for hit shows such as HBO's Sex in the City, and performer with the likes of Tito Puente and Celia Cruz.
