Fumosonic Live At The Edison On October 16, 2014

Fumosonic has confirmed that their next album will be recorded LIVE at The Edison, an historic landmark in Downtown LA on October 16, 2014. Fumosonic is the culmination of 20+ years of marriage and collaboration between John and Kelly Fumo. The vision of these two musician/composers from Los Angeles, CA is a transformative musical experience that draws upon John's jazz influences and Kelly's love of music. After recording 4 CDs to date, the Fumos wanted to make this next album really special by inviting listeners into the show at The Edison.

Music for the Masses
Fumosonic is an interesting mix of talented players that really need to be seen & heard live. This live recording is a way to bring that experience to the masses. The band performing live at The Edison on October 16 will include: John Fumo on trumpet, Kelly Fumo on vocals, Brad Dutz on tabla, Chris Wabich on drums, Wayne Peet on keys, Ken Lasaine on guitar and Ben Shepherd on bass. This varied assortment of musical talents and styles only contributes to the whole Fumosonic experience.

"We are often asked, 'What genre are you?' Well, we came up with our own genre - Psychedelic Free Jazz World Pop." (John & Kelly Fumo)

Feel the Experience
Everyone has that one song that just makes them "feel" something special. Once the exclusive, one night only LIVE performance is captured, it will be mixed and mastered into a final edition that will be presented to the public later this year. The 21+ show is taking place at The Edison in Downtown LA (108 W. 2nd St, #101). Doors open at 5p with cocktails through 7p. FUMOSONIC takes the stage at 8:30p, with two additional sets throughout the evening. The FUMOSONIC experience is rare and compelling - this is music that has to be seen, heard and felt. It truly is an "experience" that should be shared.
