Judy Niemack Music-Photos-Films & Sculpture

Jazz Vocalist Judy Niemack presents a dynamic multimedia jazz concert, inspired by a great sculptor Chillida: Combing the Wind
Original music, with films and photos of the Wind Comb sculptures in the Bay of San Sebastian, Spain

Original poetry and songs in an evening of music and dance inspired by by Basque artist Eduardo Chillida and his "Wind Comb" sculptures. Judy's films and photos will be projected behind an ensemble featuring John DiMartino, piano, Jay Anderson Bass, Adam Nussbaum, drums, Rich Perry, Sax, Don Sickler, Trumpet, Jeanfrançois Prins, guitar, and vocalists, Jay Clayton, Holli Ross, Patti Dunham, Aurora Arteaga, and Defne Sahin. They will be joined by improvising dancer Emma Hoette.

The concert will take place at the Bronx Museum of the Arts in their "First Fridays!" series.

September 5, 2014, 6-10 pm.

The evening will end with Fiesta Flamenca by the Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana dance company.
