Jazz to Gospel Concert 98 Bottles San Diego, CA

Many jazz musicians have married the soul inspiring music from gospel hymns and spirituals in their approach to delivering outstanding performances. The gospel and jazz songs belted out by songstress Daneen Wilburn can only be described as unforgettable. Wilburn has shared the stage with Grammy Award Winning artists performing nationally and with local bands. Then add National Recording Artist and "Showtime at the Apollo Winning" Saxophonist Brandon Primus with his mix of gospel, jazz, and funk it's an all out music explosion.

Primus has shared the stage with renowned artists Jeffrey Osborne, Rashaan Patterson, and Jody Watley just to name a few. Together they are a perfect match of vocals and instruments. Along with their award-winning band and special guests, you are in for a good time. Get ready to experience an evening of toe tappin and hand clapping in the intimate setting on The BackRoom at 98 Bottles.

Wilburn and Primus are known for getting their audiences engaged and moving, performing to sell out crowds in 2013. Wilburn's sultry and inspiring soul toned voice and Primus's soulful strut rhythms on stage deliver memorable recordings from Ella, Anita Baker, Coltrane, Miles Davis, to today's contemporary jazz and gospel greats.
