Corley Roberts To Debut New Release "Rright Now"

Corley Roberts debuted songs from "Right Now" at Nashville's renowned listening room The Bluebird Café, 4140 Hillsboro Pike, Nashville. "The songs themselves speak to real issues that I believe are relatable, " says Corley. "The album's title reflects life experience and the way that I've learned to live and grow with a new maturity. I believe the songs will connect with others that are experiencing the same growing pains that stay with us forever."

"Right Now" tiptoes across genres, melding smooth jazz with contemporary folk, Americana, jazz-folk, blues and soft rock. It is a record that best describes ordinary life from an extraordinary perspective using a broad range of musical genres to tell the singular story. "Right Now" features a host of renowned musicians from Music City, USA adding depth to the songs of this incredible talent.

THE MAKING OF "RIGHT NOW"
"The caliber of this release was the result of superior musicianship that couldn't be found anywhere else but in Nashville, Tenn., " says Corley Roberts.

THE PRODUCER: Cliff Goldmacher is engineer/producer. In the music business for more than 20 years, Goldmacher is a songwriter, producer, session musician, engineer, author and owner of recording studios in Nashville and Sonoma, Calif. He has engineered and produced close to a 100 album projects, music for feature films, television shows and national ad campaigns. "Cliff has an amazing attention for detail and precision. Watching him work was a production of its own!" says Corley.

THE MUSICIANS: Kerry Marx, guitarist, has played a variety of jazz, pop, rock, and country music in the Nashville recording scene, as well as being nationally recognized as a "go to" studio musician. David Francis, electric and upright bass, is best known for his work with LeRoy Parnell. Jeff Roach, keyboards, has worked with icons such as Sheryl Crow, Hunter Hayes, Amy Grant, Ne-Yo, Martina McBride, John Rich, Carried Underwood, to name a few. Glen Caruba, percussion, has appeared onstage as a percussionist for Jimmy Buffett, Sara Evans, Steve Forbert, Toby Keith, Barry Manilow and scores of others. Andrea Zonn, violinist, viola, background vocalist, currently tours with James Taylor and has collaborated with Vince Gill, Lyle Lovett, Alison Krauss, and Trisha Yearwood. Jason Eskridge, studio vocalist, has performed with Randy Travis, Jonny Lang, Nicole C. Mullen, and has sung back up for Micha Dalton, Grits, Knowdaverbs, and Pigeon John. Sally Barris, background vocals, song coach, is well known in Nashville and has had her songs recorded by major artists. Her song, "Let the Wind Chase You, " was recorded by Trisha Yearwood and Keith Urban, and received a Grammy nomination in 2009.

MY HEALTH AFFAIR
Songs from "Right Now" are featured as part of Corley Roberts' MyHealth Affair, a program for Baby Boomers and seniors that combines education and music for passionate healthy living. Singer, songwriter, public speaker, published author, and healthcare professional, Corley Roberts is an exercise physiologist. She is also a certified Health Fitness Specialist with the American College of Sports Medicine, has a Masters in Healthcare Administration, and advanced certification in healthcare quality. Corley has combined her healthcare knowledge with her songwriting expertise to "educate and engage." She has presented on various topics to include prevention and management of heart disease, aging, exercise and weight management, chronic disease and exercise, and behavioral change techniques.
