Stephanie Jordan Performs A Liberty Bank Christmas

Liberty Bank and Trust Company announces its 2nd Annual "A Liberty Bank Christmas Concert." This year's event will again feature the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra joined by the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, Irvin Mayfield and Stephanie Jordan. The concert will also feature The Franklin Avenue Male Chorus, Classical Pianist - Dr. Wilfred Delphin and Spinto-Soprano Valerie Jones-Frances, Zulu Gospel Male Choir, St. Mary's Academy Choir, St. Augustine High School Choir, Child Prodigy - Craig James, and the Xavier University Jazz Band.

This show will blend the mainstream classical sounds of the Philharmonic Symphony with the gritty soul of the Jazz Orchestra. You will be inspired by the angelic voices of two great local female artists, Stephanie Jordan and Valerie Jones-Francis. Choirs will fill the air with heavenly sounds and youth will be featured as we create a new generation of musical and theatrical artists. And Santa Claus will be on hand to get the kids "wish list" and take photos for this year's Christmas.

Liberty Bank President Alden McDonald says the festive event is an opportunity to create a new Christmas tradition. "The Bank has a long term commitment to promote and enrich the culture of the communities in which we have a presence. New Orleans is home. We find great pleasure in creating festive events where our best and brightest can show-off their talents and at the same time people who come out can give back to the institutions and organizations who are teaching our children and taking care of our most needy."

Proceeds from the show will benefit local New Orleans Schools and various non-profit organizations. Christmas donations are requested at fifteen dollars ($15) for adults and five dollars ($5) for children up to 13 years of age. The signature event will take place Saturday, December 7, 2013. Doors open at 6:30 PM. The concert begins at 7:30 PM at Xavier University's Convocation Center, 1 Drexel Drive.
