Stevie Hawkins Heads To Hollywood

Once again, Stevie Hawkins goes to Hollywood this year for the Indie Music Channel Awards. Hawkins is nominated as, "Best Male Blues Artist" and "Best Blues Live Performance". Hawkins' nominations are based upon the song written by Charlotte Hannon and Stevie Hawkins titled "Everything Is Subject To Change". A panel of music industry judges determined Hawkins' nominations. As a recent nominee in the 2012 Artists In Music Awards held in Hollywood February 10th, Hawkins won "Best Jazz Artist" award, and was nominated for "Best Blues Artist".

Christopher Ewing, Emmy Award winning TV host, actor & model, and the founder of the Indie Music Channel, is hosting a private pre-awards party for the nominees Saturday April 28, 2012, from 1:00 until 5:00 PM. The party will be at Sunset Gower Studios, a prominent motion picture and television production facility based in Hollywood. The party will afford attending nominees the opportunity to network with music, and television and film industry executives. A jam session for the nominees is also on the agenda at the pre-awards party.

The Indie Music Channel Red Carpet awards event will take place in the Foundation Room at the House Of Blues on Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, Sunday April 29, 2012, beginning at 6:30 PM. The awards show starts at 7:00 PM and runs until 10:30 PM. Immediately following the awards, an After Party will take place, featuring several of the exceptional artists of the Indie Music Channel, including performances by: Amanda Morgan, Noize from the Basement, SharBaby & the Rhythm Blues Band, Diamante, Viktoria Tocca, and others. Leaders in all areas of the television, music, and film industry and will be on hand at the event.

Joining Stevie Hawkins at the event will be co-writer Charlotte Hannon, Lacy Darryl Phillips radio host on KLEDLive-FM Los Angeles, Jason Roberson radio host on XSite Radio Los Angeles, Tony Newton renowned Motown bass guitarist of The Funk Brothers - Smokey Robinson - The Supremes among others, and Miles Grayson legendary music producer of ZZ Hill - Johnny Taylor.
