Blue Notes Records 70th Anniversary On Tour

Since 1939, Blue Notes' catalog of music has featured an array of legendary performances and a core list of must-have recordings that indelibly marked the history of jazz.

To mark its 70th anniversary, the premier label in jazz comes to Centennial Hall with an all-star band. The tour unites music director and pianist Bill Charlap with some of the most in-demand players in jazz, including tenor saxophonist Ravi Coltrane, Peter Bernstein on guitar, drummer Lewis Nash, Nicholas Payton on trumpet, Peter Washington on bass and Steve Wilson on alto sax.
