Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp

Everyone - from businessmen to Hollywood stars - harbors a secret dream to be a rock star. Now, this summer, Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp is going to make these dreams come true as the camp travels to cities all across the country.

Some of the celebrities who have signed up so far include Angus T. Jones ("Two and a Half Men"), Madeline Zima ("Californication"), Thom Barry ("Cold Case"), and Brandon Barash ("General Hospital"). They will join everyday men and women for the Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy experience, special one-day camps traveling to 15 cities across the country during which they will meet, jam, rehearse and perform live with rock star counselors including Gilby Clarke (Guns n' Roses), Chris Slade (AC/DC), Kip Winger (Winger), Mark Slaughter (Slaughter) and more. Then, that same night, they will all hit the stage to perform as the opening act for EXTREME (featuring all three of the band's original members - Nuno Bettencourt, Gary Cherone and Pat Badger) and KING's X.

"Every camper who goes through the Camp tells me the same thing - that it changes their lives forever, " says Camp Counselor Elliot Easton of The Cars. "Men and women of every skill level come together and perform with their musical idols. It's unforgettable and, quite honestly, magical."

However, some musical dreams will continue on long past the summer camp as one of the bands assembled over the course of the tour will win an all-expense paid trip to attend Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp in London this November. London campers will record at Abbey Road Studios with counselors that include Nick Mason (Pink Floyd) and Bill Wyman (Rolling Stones) and then perform live, on-stage at The Cavern Club in Liverpool.

In celebration of all the excitement surrounding this summer's Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp, Westwood One affiliates across the country will be airing a brand new two-hour radio special called YOUR ROCK AND ROLL FANTASY: A Journey Inside the Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp over the July 4th weekend. Hosted by Simon Kirke from Bad Company, this exclusive look at past Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camps includes never-before-heard performances by Brian Wilson, Cheap Trick, Mickey Hart and many more. Plus, past counselors like Roger Daltrey, Vince Neil, Slash, Brett Michaels, and Paul Stanley recount their camp experiences.

Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp allows everyday men and women to live out their rock dreams by performing live, on-stage with legendary rock stars. This summer, the Camp will be traveling to 15 cities around the country: Pryor, Oklahoma for the Rocklahoma festival (where campers will open for Brett Michaels, Ratt, Warrant, Cinderella and more); Boston (Bank of America Pavilion) on July 31 (featuring special guest counselor Joe Perry of Aerosmith); Baltimore (Ram's Head) on August 2; New York City (Fillmore at Irving Plaza) on August 4; Cleveland (House of Blues) on August 6; Chicago (House of Blues) on August 9; Nashville (Wildhorse Saloon) August 11; Atlanta (Center Stage) on August 13; Orlando (House of Blues) on August 15; New Orleans (House of Blues) on August 18; Dallas (House of Blues) on August 20; Phoenix (Marquee Theatre) on August 22; Las Vegas (Hard Rock Hotel & Casino) on August 23; San Francisco (Fillmore) on August 25; and Los Angeles (House of Blues) on August 26.
