2nd Annual I. E. Jazz and Rhythm & Blues Festival

Triple-threat Blue-Eyed Soul sensation Philip Clark will be making his Los Angeles original music debut at the 2nd Annual I. E. Jazz and Rhythm & Blues Festival, to be held at the Moreno Valley Ranch Golf Club on June 14th, 2008.

Philip Clark, backed by a four-piece band including Chris "Dash" Williams, Noah Wilson and Anthony Deniega, will lend his talents to the festival, which promises to be the best ticket in town this Father's Day weekend. In its second year, the festival not only brings the best and brightest of the Jazz and R&B communities together, but also sends relief to preventing child abuse and ensuring that abused children receive equal opportunities for social development.

The festival is a star-studded event which runs from 11AM to 11PM and also includes Will Sumner, Charlene Jene, Vaughn D. Fahie & the S4G Ensemble and Phinnie O'Leary Jackson.

Philip Clark's set begins at approx. 3PM. Philip will be playing highlights from his debut album, "The State of Blue-Eyed Soul" as well as new material from his upcoming release. Originally from Wyoming, Clark later became an indispensable session musician and commercial producer in Denver, New York and Los Angeles. Singles from his debut album topped several mainstream and internet radio charts. Philip was also a finalist on "Showtime at the Apollo" and has even shared the stage with The Godfather of Soul, James Brown.

Echoing nuances ranging from Stevie Wonder, Jamiroquai, Hall & Oates and The Brand New Heavies, "The State of Blue-Eyed Soul" is available on Amazon.com and at iTunes.
