"Party of God is a 12 song album of overlapping scenes, characters, news, dialogue and geographies. The song cycle begins with the parading optimism of the first song, And We'll Be Greeted as Liberators, and closes with the war stomp Fallujah Blues/Lux, " says Ferry when asked to describe the new album.

Cooper adds, "Each song is meant to be an individual, to reflect a point of view or experiences shared between two people rather than a politic."

Turnbull explains further, "The album strives to impartially echo the world's religious and political fragmentation and give a voice to the everyday person caught in crossfire."

Doors to The Chimeras Party of God album launch party open at 9 p.m. on Saturday, May 10th, 2008. The launch party lasts until midnight. Other popular Philadelphia bands will be performing along with The Chimeras.
