John Michael of Nashville releases new CD

John Michael, the talented singer/songwriter from Harrisonburg, VA, has just released the CD, "Worthwhile"; a CD of songs that will leave the listener craving more. Crisp and clean with a modern feel that doesn't forget or leave behind their roots, the songs on "Worthwhile" range from light rock to contemporary sounding, but you can hear an influence akin to John Mayer and Counting Crows. John sings about the pain, humor, and trials of life with a rich, deep voice that is clearly unrivaled by many in today's music. Music fans across the board will find much to enjoy in this new cd.

"Worthwhile" will be made available for sale at local retail outlets as well as many online digital distributors including I-Tunes, cdbaby, Tower Records, Walmart, and others.

While only nineteen years old, John Michael has already had a great deal of experience performing live. He has performed in seven different states and had an opportunity to perform last year at James Madison University's "Spring Fest" in front of 15, 000 people. "I love the reaction that the crowd gives me when I am performing and I love to make them a part of the show, " he added.

Most recently, John Michael completed a demo with well-known Nashville producer Paul Gannon and is looking forward to playing more venues in 2007. "While I consider myself a tenor, I enjoy singing in a number of styles whether it be jazz, country or rock. I am aiming to go more commercial with my sound and my voice in the near future, " he added. Requests for bookings and sales can be directed to John Michael at (540) 383-8198.
