Conceptual jazz group hologramª on a fantastic journey

Concept jazz quartet hologramª releases their self-titled album, a fantastic blend of acoustic and electric jazz, classical music influences, afro-caribbean rhythms and sound design elements. This music draws its inspiration from the holographic principle in nature, the universe and existence itself, that unity that underlies it all, organically, energetically, physically and spiritually.

Featuring the talents of accomplished musicians L. Raul Romero on guitar, Ricardo Pons on saxophones, Aldemar Valentin on bass (Ricky Rodriguez performs acoustic bass on the album), Efrain Martinez on drums and recorded in a transparent and creative atmosphere by producer Enrique Gonzalez Diaz, this quartet has performed together for over 6 years and individually have performed and recorded with a veritable who's-who roster of jazz and latin jazz stars including Slide Hampton, Giovanni Hidalgo, Mario Bauza, Steve Khan, Eddie Gomez, Danilo Perez, Tito Puente, Chick Corea and Ron Carter.

Hailed as a group that 'really elevates into the stratosphere, jamming with superpowered energy...exhilarating' (Adam Harrington, Whisperin' and Hollerin'-UK) and that 'stretch their creativity and raise their consciousness...in doing so, we're taken on a fantastic journey with them' (Vivian Fields, Midnight Jazz @ Wordpress.com-US) hologramª brings to jazz an eclectic musical and sonic experience unlike any other.

The album is available through the band's website at www.hologram-a.com, www.cdbaby.com, iTunes Music Store (keyword hologramª) and most online retailers.
