'Grammy Radio' Returns to XM February 8

"Grammy Radio" will return to XM on February 8, providing millions of music fans unmatched coverage of Grammy Week events, as well as highlights from the past 50 years of the Grammys. Grammy Radio will air on XM's exclusive programming channel, XMX (XM 2) through February 10, the evening of the 50th Annual Grammy Awards. This dedicated content is part of XM's multi-year programming and marketing partnership with The Recording Academy.

To kick off GRAMMY Radio, XM will broadcast "Fifty Years of The GRAMMYs, " an exclusive 50-hour retrospective highlighting past winners since 1958 in a range of categories in all genres of music, including "Record Of The Year, " "Song Of The Year" and dozens more.

In addition, GRAMMY Radio will once again offer the only live broadcast of this year's pre-telecast GRAMMY Awards, as well as red-carpet interviews from the GRAMMY Awards and broadcasts of unforgettable performances by a "who's who" of superstar artists at the most exclusive events during GRAMMY Week. These include: MusiCares Person of the Year tribute honoring music icon Aretha Franklin; GRAMMY Salute To Jazz honoring Sonny Rollins and McCoy Tyner; and GRAMMY Salute To Classical Music honoring Lang Lang and Earl Wild, among many other GRAMMY Week events.

"GRAMMY Radio will once again provide millions of XM subscribers the closest thing to red-carpet access and front-row seats at the music industry's most exclusive events, traditionally reserved only for music industry V.I.P.s, " said Eric Logan, executive vice president of programming
for XM. "XM is the ideal platform to bring comprehensive coverage of GRAMMY Week events to the millions of music fans who subscribe to our service."
