Empire Isis Prepares To Go International

Empire Isis prepares to go International as 2008's upcoming urban & world artist. She will be embarking on her international tour that will see her in Jamaica, Israel, and England, where she will be performing & recording with top producers Overstand (Anthony B, Sizzla, Junior Kelly and Bushman) & Prayon (Sean Paul, Beyonce, Mobb Deep, G-UNIT).

Over the next few months' new tracks will be recorded for Empire ISIS' international fan base that has grown rapidly over 2007 and have anxiously been waiting for Empire ISIS' releases for 2008. They will be released at to be determined date and be available to preview on www.myspace.com/empireisis.

Nominated for "Most Promising Entertainer" at the International Reggae & World Music Awards, the North-African beauty defies all preconceived ideas of your typical urban artist. Empire ISIS aka Empress Gangstress brings the fire with her high energy and conscious dancehall lyrics on her new album "Sound the Trumpets". Ranked number 7 on the top 10 unsigned artists in the world by "The frost report", In addition, ISIS single "Get Up On It" went on the European record pool charts for 5 weeks at number 40, and is currently charting in the US. In New York City she held the number 2 spot on Record Pools for 4 weeks beating some of the biggest names in the industry such as Justin Timberlake, and 50 Cent to name a few. In Canada, she has been on multiple CMJ charts including ranked number 2 on Fusion radio.

Empire ISIS brings a militant, passionate, and high energy of urban & reggae sound. From her unique look to her blazing lyrics, ISIS is a true provocateur challenging peoples perceptions, stereotypes and common modes of thinking. Ultimately, ISIS says,

"I want to inspire people to follow their dreams, to do what they're here on earth for".

Her first studio effort, "Sound the Trumpets", was recorded between New York and Tuff Gong Studios in Jamaica alongside co-producer Prayon from G-unit, Overstand, and Flava. In addition, the album features two roots reggae stars Turbulence and Sizzla Kalonji. ISIS has performed before thousands across North America - opening for acts such as Capleton, Bounty Killa, Elephant Man, Gyptian, Sizzla, Chamillionaire, Jully Black & many more.
