Graham Wood Drout Wins Song of The Year Honors

Little Silver Records and Size Thirteen Music announced that Iko Iko frontman, Graham Wood Drout, has received the Blues Critics Choice award for Song Of The Year with "The Ghosts of Mississippi" (Big Bolt Music - BMI) that was featured on three releases in 2006.

The song was recorded by Drout on his live acoustic release with Albert Castiglia, The Bittersweet Sessions, as well as Castiglia's own version on his BluesLeaf release, A Stone's Throw. Joey Gilmore recorded the song and won the IBC award for Best Blues Performance in 2006 with his version and it was the title track of his current release on Bluzpik records.
