Razer announces at the Consumer Electronics Show 2008 that the Razer Mako has begun shipping. Co-developed with THX, the Razer Mako is a 2.1 advanced desktop audio system, turning any desktop into an amazing soundstage with optimum audio fidelity.

Razer Mako features:
- Patented THX Ground Plane and THX Slot Speaker Technology;
- THX Certified for optimum quality and performance;
- Bi-amplified satellites (2x50 watts each) with DSP Control;
- Powered subwoofer;
- Frequency range 25 – 20,000Hz (+/- 2.5dB 40 – 18,000Hz);
- Total system power 300 watts;
- ClassHD Digital Amplifier technology with full DSP control;
- Amplified headphone jack.

Razer will also showcase the Razer Destructor, a gaming-grade surface co-developed with pro-gaming teams at CES. Engineered for optical and laser mice, the Razer Destructor is coated in a highly reactive gunmetal finish. Gaming-grade optical mice can track up to 25% better on the Razer Destructor, and gaming-grade laser mice can track up to 37% better on the Razer Destructor when compared to other gaming-mousing surfaces which are designed specifically for extremely precise movements.

- Razer Fractal surface for high-precision gameplay;
- Optimized for both optical and laser gaming-grade mice;
- Ultra-wide size ideal for continuous, rapid swipes: 350mm (length) x 280mm (width) x 2.3mm (height);
