Industry Experts Giving Insights into the Asian-Pacific Market and Beyond at GC Asia 2007

The first GC Asia Conference (GCAC) will open its doors next week in Singapore, September 6-7, 2007. Focussing on mobile and online games, outsourcing, and business development, GCAC presents a unique networking forum for developers and publishers from the Asia-Pacific region, North America, and Europe. The organizers have announced a top-notch line-up of over 60 renowned speakers, addressing key industry topics in over 50 sessions.

The Leipzig Fair, organizer of GC (Games Convention) - Europe's biggest show in the industry - has granted Singaporean organizer CEMS (Conference & Exhibition Management Services Pte Ltd) the right to use the Games Convention brand. For two days, GCAC will host leading international publishers and game developers from the Asia-Pacific region, North America, and Europe. Attendees will have the opportunity to develop direct contacts within the Asia-Pacific market and discuss business opportunities. Under the motto, "Opportunities to the World", developers from Asia will have the chance to meet international publishers and speak about their business. The conference program is divided into four tracks, business development, business opportunities, financing/VC, and outsourcing.

The organizers expect about 500 attendees at the Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Center. The GCAC program includes speakers from 20 countries, among them Allan Simonsen (Technical Director, Boomzap/IGDA, Singapore), Christopher Thompson (Vice President/GM Asia, Electronic Arts) Chris Natsumme (CEO, Boomzap, Singapore), Joonmo Kwon (CEO, Nexon Corp/Nexon Mobile, South Korea), Peter Paul Gadi (Anino Mobile, Philippines), Che-Yuan Wang (Disney, China), Bob Wallace (Strategic Alternatives, USA), and Keith Liu (Nokia, Singapore).

GCAC is supported by GC Developers Conference (GCDC), Europe's leading conference for game developers. GCDC 2007 in Leipzig, Germany, attracted over 900 attendees from more than 35 countries. GC Asia and GCA are organized by Leipziger Messe International (LMI) and Conference and Exhibition Management Services (CEMS).
