The Mighty Troglodytes announces the launch of Smash The Mole

The creators of Lucky Luke Outlaws and Adventure Boy In Zooloo Land are back! Hot on the heels of Crazy Dog, The Mighty Troglodytes, creators of video games for mobile phones, announce the launch of the second title in the Garden Stories series: Smash The Mole.

With the Frenzy Island Best Vegetable Garden competition fast approaching, Vlad Furry is hatching a fiendish plan to ensure he wins the trophy. His idea is to enlist an army of mercenary moles to wreak havoc in the wonderful garden tended by his neighbour, Sven Tomato, many-time winner of the competition. Stepping into the shoes of Sven, the player must defend his garden against the mole assaults, with the help of his giant hammer.

Displayed on a fixed screen, Smash The Mole is quick and easy to get the hang of. To drive away the moles, Sven can move in 4 directions. Once he is face to face with a mole, the phone's central key allows him to hit it over the head, to make it run away. But watch out, the moles are persistent and retaliate by throwing vegetables from the vegetable garden at Sven. As you progress through the levels, various bonuses are unblocked to help Sven protect his garden.

Scheduled for release in July, Smash The Mole will join Crazy Dog (already available) and Gob'n'Frog (due to be released in August 2007) in the Garden Stories series. The games are available in Java and are compatible with more than 350 handsets, in the main languages of the countries where they will be distributed (French, English, German, Italian, Spanish).
