Alawar Entertainment and Dream Dale Create Alawar DreamDale

Alawar Entertainment and Dream Dale announce the creation of Alawar DreamDale, a new division within Alawar that will focus on the development of casual titles.

Founded in 2002, Dream Dale has established itself as one of the most talented and professional developers of casual games in Eastern Europe. Their offerings have achieved worldwide success, with the top position going to the Magic Ball line of games. Currently, the series is comprised of three titles, all of which are said to be among the best 3D Breakout offerings ever made. During the almost five years since the release of the original, Alawar has sold more than 1.2 million Magic Ball games. In addition, the series has been ported from the PC to several additional platforms, including mobile phones, and localized throughout Europe and Asia, including English, German, Italian, Spain, Dutch, French, Polish, Czech and Russian.

The success of the Magic Ball series was the natural result of a productive working relationship between Dream Dale and Alawar. The logical extension of their profitable long-term collaboration is the founding of Alawar DreamDale, which will enable the companies to combine all of the resources necessary for the development, marketing and distribution of casual games under one roof. At this time, Alawar DreamDale is busy creating a blueprint for the creation of future games, including brand-new properties as well as titles that will continue the Magic Ball series. According to a preliminary estimate, three new casual games from Alawar DreamDale will enter the market within one year.

In April 2007, Alawar Entertainment also announced the formation of Alawar Stargaze, another internal casual games development division. The addition of Alawar DreamDale to Alawar Stargaze and Alawar gameSTUDIO gives Alawar three studios under its banner.
