Namco Bandai's Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2 Takes the Gold

Namco Bandai Games America announces that Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2 has received gold status and will hit retail shelves on June 12. Available exclusively for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system, Ultimate Ninja 2 features new playable characters, more game-play modes and unlockable content, powerful secret techniques, and the intense fast-paced action you've come to love from the Ultimate Ninja series. Based on the hit anime series Shonen Jump Naruto from VIZ Media, Ultimate Ninja 2 picks up where the first installment left off with more thrilling ninja-packed combat and new environments.

Follow Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, Gaara, Tsunade, Jiraiya, and all the show's favorites as they battle the best in the land to become the ultimate ninja. While playing through the series' memorable moments, like the Chunin Exam and the Tsunade saga, players can earn money and customize their favorite character's strength, defense, agility, chakra, and even the moves they use. Embark down the path of a warrior with the new Ultimate Road game mode, which follows the storyline of the show and also allows players to unlock an original plot unique to Ultimate Ninja 2.

Players can perfect their technique in Iruka's Training mode then put their skills to the test with the head-to-head two-player VS. Duel mode. Featuring over 60 challenging missions, six mini-games, and a multitude of unlockable features including movies, music, collectible cards, and certificates, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2 offers limitless re-playability.
