Ozura Mobile and Nemodigm Announce an Agreement to Deliver Mobile Entertainment in South Korea and Japan

Ozura Mobile has signed an agreement with Korean-based wireless solution company, Nemodigm. As part of the agreement, Nemodigm will distribute Ozura's mobile games through its distribution network of carriers and partners, which enables 139 million mobile subscribers in South Korea and Japan to experience Ozura's entrancing mobile games.

According to Wireless World Forum, the number of mobile subscribers in Japan is expected to reach 106 million by the end of 2009 with a CAGR (Compound Annual Growth Rate) from 2004 to 2009 of 3.96%. On top of that, over 70 per cent of these users are said to have played a mobile game more than once a week and 38.4 per cent of remainders play almost every day.

In South Korea, mobile gaming appears to be the second-largest sector of the country's gaming industry, according to Pearl Research. The revenue of the games market in South Korea is forecasted to exceed $2.0 billion in 2007, driven by the fast growing online and mobile games market.

Research and Markets reports also reveal a steady number of 4.5 million mobile games downloads take place every month in Korean and it shows 12% of the consumers buy a game every month.
