Got Game Brings 'Mahjongg Artifacts' to North America

Got Game Entertainment has announced a North American retail publishing deal for "Mahjongg Artifacts", a striking new entry in the fiercely competitive Mahjongg category of casual games for the PC. Based on the traditional Chinese game, which some believe can be traced back to Confucius, this new fan favorite features three innovative game modes, gorgeous backgrounds, and songs inspired by ancient cultures. "Mahjongg Artifacts" for the PC is scheduled for retail release March 5, 2007. The game is rated "E" for Everyone by the ESRB.

The three game modes of "Mahjongg Artifacts" include a Story Mode featuring an epic quest for lost relics, a Classic Mode in which players choose the layout they want to play, and the breathtaking Endless Mode in which players remove tiles from an ever-rising tower of game pieces. Imbued with 27 beautiful backgrounds and 6 atmospheric songs, "Mahjongg Artifacts" will appeal to both novice and expert. Special tiles allow players to use new strategies to clear layouts, and high scores can be achieved by earning bonuses for skillful gameplay and collecting trophies for special accomplishments.
