SpaceStationSim Launches Into Retail Orbit In North America

Enlight announces that Vision Videogames' SpaceStationSim has shipped to North American retail outlets. Available exclusively on the PC, SpaceStationSim is rated E 10+.

SpaceStationSim offers players the unique opportunity to build and operate their own version of the International Space Station. As the first game ever developed in collaboration with NASA, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, players assume the role of Chief Administrator of NASA and manage astronaut crewmembers as they live, work, and play aboard their uniquely created ISS. Gamers must successfully run their space station by guiding the astronauts through rigorous missions and numerous challenges such as fires and equipment malfunctions.

Dozens of modules and stylized components from NASA and its four exploration partners, the Canadian Space Agency (CSA), European Space Agency (ESA), Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), and the Russian Space Agency (RSA), can be used to create a unique ISS. In addition to building the station, players must take care to attend to the astronauts' needs and relationships, each having distinct personalities and abilities. Careful planning, management, design and strategy will lead players to a successful space station program, and guide mankind to the next era of space exploration and discovery.
