Lara Croft Featured in Interactive DVD Game

Bright Entertainment sets November 6th 2006 as the release date of the first Interactive DVD game to be based on the Lara Croft videogame franchise. The Interactive DVD game 'Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Action Adventure' enables the player to control Lara with the simple 'up', 'down', 'left', 'right' and 'enter' command buttons of a standard DVD remote control and is aimed squarely at the Xmas non-gamer mainstream market. Designed for an audience who may have never played a video game before, the game offers players an average of an afternoon or evening's gameplay from starting to completing the game. The game can be played over and over again achieving better scores and also allows players to divide into teams and challenge one another.

Formerly the preserve of the TV quiz show the Interactive DVD market is growing massively and the release of 'Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Action Adventure' sees the creation of a new category featuring Interactive DVD games based upon videogame franchises. Based on Lara's Angel of Darkness adventure, the new release sees Lara framed for a crime she did not commit and players will help her struggle to clear her name and solve an exciting mystery of betrayal and vengeance. Gameplay features puzzle solving and non-stop action adventure.
