Metro 3D Publishing Joins Future Publishing Metal Hammer

Metro 3D Publishing announce that they will be attending the fourth annual Metal Hammer Golden Gods awards, taking place on June 12 at London's Koko venue. As part of the deal, Metro 3D will premiere the PlayStation 2 version of Earache Extreme Metal Racings. Music fans, guest and bands will be able to play the game as pods will be placed around the venue.

Earache Extreme Metal Racings uniquely was conceived and created by 15 year old Gothic metaller Sky Nash and all started as a possible way to not only keep her amused but potentially to dissuade her from following her overworked father into a gaming career.

Earache Extreme Metal Racings is a joint partnership between Earache Records with Metro 3D in conjunction with the games developer Data Design Interactive, for PlayStation 2, PC and PSP all formats which will be due for shipping on 7th July 2006.

Earache Extreme Metal Racings will feature ten evil Earache racing teams burning a lot more than rubber through hell and other wastelands. Along with themed tracks from the combatants on the starting grid there'll also be a plethora of extreme Earache classics making up the soundtrack of the game from such luminaries as Napalm Death, At The Gates, aCathedral, The Haunted, Hate Eternal, Cult Of Luna, Beecher, Urkraft, Anata, Mistress, Severe Torture and many others.
