Scene It? the DVD Game Goes Mobile

Namco Networks has announced plans to bring top-selling Scene It? Movie Edition and Scene It? TV Edition DVD games to mobile phones through a partnership with Screenlife, LLC, the pioneer of the booming DVD game industry.

With nearly 10 million games sold, Scene It? is currently the top selling board game brand in the world. In the mobile version of Scene It?, players will be able to answer movie and TV trivia from the DVD board game through the text and audio capabilities of their phones.

Through the mobile platform's network connectivity, players will be able to access Scene It? trivia questions and content, providing a unique game experience with every play. Rapidly increasing network speeds and streaming video technology will allow players to view full-motion TV and movie-clip-based trivia questions any time, anywhere, while on the go.

The Scene It? mobile games will feature some of the same categories as its DVD counterpart:
- Invisibles: character images or objects are removed from famous TV and movie scenes
- Distorted Reality: an image of a famous actor or pop culture icon gradually comes into focus
- Pictograms: images must be added together to create an actor's name, movie title or TV show
- Spellbinders: letters slowly appear to reveal the name of an actor, character, movie or TV show.

The Scene It? mobile game debut is scheduled for winter 2006.
