Speakeasy launches beta trial of Gamecloud Arena

Speakeasy's Gamecloud officially launched its beta of the Gamecloud Arena, a new multiplayer games on-demand service designed to provide a new competitive gaming experience. The Gamecloud Arena service currently supports some of the most popular First Person Shooter titles.

The Gamecloud Arena will be served on Speakeasy's all-fiber private network on the latest hardware infrastructure. It will allow for hundreds of thousands of users to simultaneously connect, start game servers, chat and instant message, create communities, challenge one another through tournaments and ladders, as well as provide a cheat-free environment using proprietary software, all from one easy-to-use, web-based interface.

The Gamecloud Arena will launch a series of events including gift cards, prizes, free online services, and much more. All services are free during the beta market launch and allow for users to join, create teams, and compete in multiple ladders and events.
