I-play Launches Branded Games Channel in Sweden

I-play, the mobile games company, announced the launch of its I-play branded games channel, allowing TeliaSonera's mobile customers to download mobile games directly from I-play's portfolio.

I-play's direct to consumer service has launched on TeliaSonera's mobile portal SurfPort and is available to mobile users in Sweden, ahead of launches in Norway, Denmark and Finland.

TeliaSonera's SurfPort users in Sweden will now be able to navigate direct to I-play's publisher channel, where they can download a wide selection of games ranging from big branded hit titles like 2Fast 2FuriousTM, Jewel QuestTM, and Maria Sharapova Tennis to award-winning "one thumb" games like Skipping Stone and Mah Jong QuestTM . Users are able to browse the games using clear, easy-to-navigate menus, with only a few clicks required to download the games directly to their handset.

SurfPort is TeliaSonera's mobile internet portal providing customers with quick and easy access to entertainment services, e-mail, search engines, positioning services, news services and much more. It is already available to more than 11 million consumers across Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Lithuania.
