Glu Mobile and Celador Celebrate One Million Mobile Millionaires

Glu Mobile, creator and global publisher of mobile entertainment, confirmed that the mobile version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, licensed from Celador International, has passed the one million sales mark in Europe. This milestone has been reached in less than eight months since the Java game first launched.

With questions taken directly from the hugely popular TV show, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? for mobile challenges players with a set of increasingly difficult questions that lead up to the life-changing final answer and a virtual 1 million GBP.

The Millionaire? TV show has become one of the best known and highest rating TV quiz shows worldwide. Since January 2005 Glu has launched the mobile game in more than 24 countries across Europe, each with hundreds of unique questions specific to each country.

In recognition of the important role Celador International has played in helping to create the hit mobile game, Glu presented a special award to Celador to mark the millionth download.
