Alten8.com finally launches RETRO:BYTES

RETRO:BYTES Lite finally launched, bringing to the retro gaming and computing world a short and snappy electronic-form magazine that fits snugly into most hard drives. Available to download at just 1 GBP, the first issue has 20 virtual pages of retro goodness.

We talk to Cinemaware's intrepid founder Bob Jacob, round up the latest news, review two Jap shooters for the SegaSaturn, have a picture of a Gizmondo and even manages quotes from Margaret Thatcher!

R:B Lite costs just 1 GBP to download from www.download-trader.com, and is readable with Adobe Reader (available from www.adobe.com). More information on the RETRO:BYTES project will be announced early in the new year. Set up at the start of 2005, the Alten8 Development group are software developers across many hand-held, mobile and portable formats.
RETRO:BYTES Lite is a community-based electro-zine for enthusiasts of retro gaming and computing, published quarterly by the Alten8.com group.
