SEGA Europe and Sports Interactive are delighted to confirm that last Friday's UK launch of Football Manager 2006 has netted retail sales of over 100, 000 units during its first weekend of release. Storming the PC chart at No.1, with an equally impressive No.2 placement in the All-Formats chart, Football Manager 2006 is now the 2nd fastest-selling PC game of all time in the UK, according to Chart-Track.

As well as outselling last year's first version's first weekend Chart-Track total by over 40, 000 units, Football Manager 2006 bettered the sales of the entire Top 50 Full Price PC Entertainment chart combined, over the last week, despite only being on sale for 2 of the 7 days.

Boasting a multitude of new and upgraded features, Football Manager 2006 for PC/Mac was published by SEGA in October 2005.
