First UK Xbox 360 clan event announced

Today Last Man Standing are delighted to announce LMS Live 2006, the UK's first Xbox 360 tournament which will take place on 11th February 2006. Last Man Standing has worked with the gaming community over the last two years, creating a successful online tournament system made specifically for gamers, by gamers.

LMS Live 2006 is already backed by established names such as Codemasters, Xbox.com, Joystick Junkies, Xequted, Games Network TV, with many more names being added to the list daily. It is set to be the gaming event of the year and will launch Last Man Standing's live event schedule into action.

This is a live launch event pitching together 15 invited Xbox Live teams from across the UK and Ireland on Microsoft's upcoming next-generation system, the highly anticipated Xbox 360. Clans invited include PMS Clan, Alpha Siege International, UK Frag Dolls, TGSN, The Elite Renegades and gaming legends the 4Kings.

LMS have left one space open for a 16th team. Clans can register their interest on the new website and this will culminate in a December tournament to decide the last place at this prestigious tournament.

Housed in a state-of-the-art venue, LMS Live 2006 is a 'real world' tournament, and has the backing of leading publishers and gaming press. The event will be filmed for Sky Digital's Game Gurushow by a crew from Games Network TV (Sky Digital Channel 179).
