Tensions get hot as Cold War ships into stores

DreamCatcher Games announced that the company?s highly anticipated stealth action game Cold War has been released in North America for PC and Xbox. Rated ?T? for Teen by the ESRB, Cold War follows the story of Matt Carter, an American freelance journalist, who finds himself in the midst of an international conspiracy that aims to take control of the U.S.S.R.

Twelve hours after arriving in Moscow for a routine story, Carter is stripped of all his possessions, beaten unconscious and thrown into the KGB?s political prison. Using only recovered weapons and improvised gadgets, he must now evade and overcome elite Soviet forces and defeat the conspiracy before he is sent to a Siberian prison camp or killed.

Features include:
- Strong espionage/stealth gameplay ? including gadgets like the powerful and deadly X-ray camera that allows you to spy on your enemies through walls and destroy explosive objects.
- Powerful and widely-recognized setting - mid-1980?s U.S.S.R.
- Interactive non-linear world. Accomplish objectives in multiple ways utilizing stealth and brute force ? find hidden paths, combine in-game elements to create deadly gadgets and traps, or silently eliminate opponents.
- Explore accurately recreated Soviet locations including Lenin?s Mausoleum, Chernobyl, the Kremlin and the KGB?s notorious Lubyanka prison.
