THQ ships Power Rangers: S.P.D. exclusively for Game Boy Advance

THQ Inc. announced that "Power Rangers: Space Patrol Delta" for Game Boy Advance has shipped to retail outlets throughout North America. The popular "Power Rangers" television series is currently in its 13th season, and THQ's release of "Power Rangers: S.P.D." marks the company's sixth installment in the 2-million-plus unit selling Power Rangers video game franchise in the U.S. since securing the game publishing rights in 2000, according to The NPD Group.

"Power Rangers: S.P.D." for Game Boy Advance features gameplay based on the current season, "Power Rangers: Space Patrol Delta, " which airs on "ABC Kids, " ABC Television Network's Saturday morning programming block and on Jetix, the daily action adventure programming block on Toon Disney and ABC Kids which is designed to present stories that empower kids to focus on mastery of their skills.

With the Earth in danger, young fans can be a part of the elite warrior unit and save the world from evil alien invaders in the "Power Rangers: S.P.D." for Game Boy Advance. Players can assume the role of all five of the Power Rangers and master their special powers to battle Emperor Gruumm's evil robots.
