XboxGameZone announced UK?s first Girl vs. Boy tournament

XboxGameZone announced the UK?s first Girl vs. Boy tournament was a huge success. Exceeding all expectations gamers of all ages took part in over 25 matches held across the bank holiday weekend on more than 9 Xbox Live? titles. The event which received full support from Microsoft Game Studios, Ubisoft and the all female clan P.M.S came to a close midnight Monday 29th August when XboxGameZone announced the 5 winners of their prize draw.

?We knew the tournament would be a success, but the overwhelming level of enthusiasm we received exceeded any we could have imagined? said Lisa Bidder Xbox Live Event Specialist of XboxGameZone. ?I would like to offer a big thank you to all the girls who took time out of their busy lives in some cases playing as many as 16 matches to support the event. Without the girls the event would never have been possible.?

XboxGameZone have been so impressed with the response to the event they are already working on the next girl vs. boy tournament and are pleased say they have already secured ?special guests? for the next one, who will they be? When will it be? Well you will need to wait and see, watch this space as all will become clear very soon.
