UFO: Aftershock is a game of tactical squad combat and global strategy. It is the sequel to the title - UFO: Aftermath and its story follows from one of the endings of the first title. The pact has been concluded with the alien invaders ? the Reticulans. They have taken control of the Earth from the human race in exchange for a safe zone in a huge orbital space station. Fifty years later, you are selected to launch an investigation into what happened on the Earth surface, and so begins a recon to check for survivors. After the groundwork is laid, you will be required to land on Earth and start building bases and collecting resources to be able to produce new technologies and develop incredible weapons and devices for fighting against new enemies who want the Earth for themselves.
