Army Ranger: Mogadishu for PC

Groove Games announced Army Ranger: Mogadishu for PC, where players take part in the events leading up to the historic firefight that took place in Mogadishu, Somolia on October 3, 1993. Developed by Jarhead Games, the creators of the best selling Marine Sharpshooter, Marine Sharpshooter II and World War II Sniper. Army Ranger: Mogadishu immerses players in direct action operations that include protecting shipments, defending HQ from mortar attacks, arresting key officials, rescuing hostages and destroying enemy facilities.

"Army Ranger: Mogadishu provides military action fans with intense gameplay and an engaging story based on one of the most intense firefights involving American forces," said Jon Walsh, CEO, Groove Games. "We are excited be working with Jarhead Games once again to deliver a quality military action shooter at a great price."

Players take the role of the commander of a squad of Army Rangers, giving the soldiers orders to Go, Cease Fire, Hold Position and Engage. Game mission maps with waypoints help players complete the game objectives through the 10 single player missions. Gamers use authentic military vehicles, including HMMVVS and Blackhawks, and equip themselves with various combat weapons, including knives, M16s and M103 grenade launchers to complete mission objectives.

Army Ranger: Mogadishu is available June 14, 2005 for a suggested retail price of $19.99 (USD). For more information about Army Ranger: Mogadishu, please visithttp://www.armyrangergame.com.
